Hope everything is okay. You were completely right about Salah. Too bad he was gone before we were targeting him in round 4. Guess he would have been better than Defoe...

Losing 70-67 in week 20 sucks.

War, you are missing week 19 (unless I missed it in the thread).

Seems to be better - thanks! But the diagnosing isn't complete yet.

As for Salah - in my wildest dreams I didn't think he would be THIS good. But at that point, I just wanted any of the four Liverpool attackers and if memory serves he was the last one left.

Damn, we lost with the 67 score? That's a killer.

Yeah, buying players from big teams off a "down" year seems to be a great strategy. Liverpool, City, Man U, etc. this year. Next year, I would avoid City.

I can't believe I got him in the 3rd Round. I had his name typed out for my second pick, but I didn't want to wait that long for a striker. So happy he fell back to me.

Pretty sure he was our top MID on the board for our 3.3 pick, but we were the only team without a forward in the first two and felt pigeon-holed. With so few true difference makers in this league, I should prioritize BPA over positional need more.

Having a benched GK is basically a wasted sub. Might as well just have 3 bench players. We should look into changing that next year.

We already do only have three bench players.

Goalies are automatically subbed in and do not count towards your three-man bench.

Ah, gotcha. I guess 3 is supposed to reflect the 3 subs you get IRL? That makes more sense then.

I think I did three subs cause that's what the fantasy Premier League does. Also, it seems to be about the right depth of player pool.

Some things are just arbitrary and just worked out.
