I may be wrong but this may be accurate. We tend to use COVID interchangeably in public.
The coronavirus is SARS-COV-2.
The disease caused by the Coronavirus SARS-Cov-2 is called COVID.
If vaccinated, you're unlikely to experience much disease aka COVID.

FDA has appropriately rejected the idea to vaccinate under 12s, that's why. The data doesn't support doing so. In the UK, no children under 18 are approved to get it unless they have a preexisting condition.

Everyone will be infected and ultimately reinfected whether they get the jab or not. The jab doesn't stop the virus or stop transmission, eventually you probably get it again.

Somewhat less likely to get COVID, less likely to transmit it, much less likely to become severely ill and extremely unlikely to die if you get the vaccine. But in no case is the chance 0%.
