YMCA commercial
I saw this commercial for the first time tonight and I’m curious to hear thoughts.
At first I thought I was watching a political commercial. Not sure I recall seeing a YMCA commercial at all , but this really had me feeling like I watched a propaganda piece .
Opinions ?

As long as they are here legally I don't care.

More propaganda leaning but I thought it was pretty well done although I don't think our country is that ignorant.
Good for the YMCA for trying to help kids

Love the helping each other message. I too am a big believer in helping each other, so I agree.
Something about that commercial also seems ...political and maybe a bit accusatory ?
I’m struggling with it.

Nice commercial. I like it alot.
Not sure how it is propaganda. Looks like they are pitching a sale - just like any other gym or any other after-school care location. The sale is: we welcome everyone, regardless.
I googled It's mission statement: To put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Sounds good to me.

Yeah, I absolutely support the mission statement. No disagreement here ...maybe I’m just having an off night.
I can’t seem to pinpoint what seemed odd about it , so I wanted other opinions.
All good.

The red old school ford pickup honking at the minorities and the white kids pushing through a Muslim girl on the sidewalk made it seem like white people are now racist against the poor little minorities. The subtle jabs at white America encompass the fabric of our society. I'm just glad I couldn't give less fricks or apologies for my unabashed whiteness
