By NRA members and conservatives.

The Hill

Maybe someone can tell me what the point of destroying an expensive piece of equipment is. I remember seeing it when all those idiots were pouring out French wines cuz the French didn't approve of the Iraq war or steamrolling a giant pile of Dixie Chicks CDs because they didn't approve of the president going to war.

Can anyone tell me what's different about this? Is this going to be something you regret later too? And if you already bought it then you're just wasting your own product and the protest means nothing. If you have to go out and buy one you're just making Yeti more money.

Seems like a wasted gesture

Your side protested fried chicken because the company is religious. Which in turn caused record sales.

Now that is a wasted gesture.

It got your attention which means it got the attention of many more people who might be thinking about buying a Yeti.

Mission accomplished.

Liberals have no use for a Yeti cooler. This is a lose lose situation for Yeti and they should have been smart enough to know this.

If any of y'all want to destroy your yeti, just let me know and I'll take care of it for you. I'll even come pick it up.

Not that I would do it but, it would appear the point is to call attention to dissatisfaction with the Yeti decision. The fact you posted this thread indicates that apparently, their choice of how to do this worked.

Somehow, I don't think you would have started this thread if they had just sent a nasty email to Yeti.

I agree with you that that is also stupid. Now does that mean that you think the destroying Yeti Coolers is stupid? That's the topic at hand.

It's a sign of protest by those craving attention. Nobody with a Yeti cooler is destroying their's if it's not on youtube or facebook.

People can make whatever stupid decision they want no matter how asinine. Hell, that's why the Democrat party exists.

I don't see a point in destroying a product of a company you are boycotting. Just give it away. That way, someone who wants that product doesn't spend money with that company or brand. Hurts them worse than just destroying their product.

That's why all these threads amuse me. The OP answered his own question the moment he sat down and started typing out his post.

Destroying your own property, that you’ve already paid a premium for, will really show Yeti

It is stupid. You've already bought the dang thing. Why destroy it? Just don't buy another one and go ahead and take the sticker off the back of your truck.
