Any election system that can't tell the winner the night of the election is a garbage system.

“Any election system that can't tell the winner the night of the election is a garbage system.”

Also garbage, an election which has a middle of the night water main bust... in 6 or 7 toss-up states.

We’ve never had a system whereby all votes are counted on Election Day. Add to that the popularity of paper ballots and final results will take even more time.

The system of calling national elections on Election Day is based primarily on exit polling. That isn’t the actual result,

I disagree.

We should take technology out of counting votes completely. Voting should only be done in person (with very limited exceptions) with a paper ballot and counted by hand. No machines, no scanning of ballots.

If it takes a week to count all the votes, so be it, but this would severely limit the risk of fraud.

Fingerprint on each ballot too.
Audit a certain % randomly.

Of course they are. They warned us for a week in advance that ballots would be coming in 3 waves, and that if they're received up to a week after Election Day, they can be counted by CA law, AND YET...

The MSM was quick to declare victory for Newsom within hours of the polls closing.

It's like they've perfected their gaslighting game.

We need to use block chain in our voting.

Why? Why can’t Mail-in paper ballots be required to be submitted in advance of Election Day? Why do they have to keep accepting them for days and weeks?

Having clean results within 24 hours is in the National interest. I’ll never understand the absolute glee the left has in saying “well we just have to keep counting for days, we have no other choice”. It’s like they don’t want anyone to trust the result.

I'm fine with this. You can still know the night of with all paper ballots and hand counts. You just have to have enough precints per voter in your system so as not to overload the human counters.

Germany just had an election and machines are outlawed there.

I also think there should be an amendment to allow the recalling of a sitting Senator. If they are not representing the will of people in the state they serve there should be a method to remove them from office. Bill Cassidy I'm looking at you.

Or better yet get rid of the 17th, and I would be happy.

Modify the 17th Amendment restoring the power of state legislatures to appoint senators and recall them with the exception of a deadlock wherein a popular vote would be triggered.
