Public unions are an absurdity

By the way, Ed Schultz now works for RT. He is now pro-Trump on his show, which is hilarious considering on MSNBC he was left of Marx.
Muh Russia might have a nugget of truth to it after all.

Most of the news pundits probably just play the part that their employer wants them to. See Megyn Kelly for an example.
I imagine very few are true believers. Hannity and Maddow are true believers on opposite sides.

Connecticut politics.
Governor and Lieutenant Governor are Democrats.
Both U.S. Senators are Democrats.
All 5 Representatives are Democrats.
THE HOUSE: The House has 151 members. Its political party composition is 87 Democrats and 64 Republicans.
THE SENATE: The Senate has 36 members. Its political party composition is 21 Democrats, 15 Republicans.
Economic and Taxation Policies:
The Tax Foundation determined Connecticut residents had the third highest burden in the nation for state and local taxes at 11.86%, or $7,150, compared to the national average of 9.8%.
As of 2014, the gasoline tax in Connecticut is 49.3 cents per gallon (the third highest in the nation) and the diesel tax is 54.9 cents per gallon (the highest in the nation).
The Result:
U.S. census data shows that Connecticut experienced a decline in population of 8,278 residents between July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2016. Connecticut was one of only eight states to experience a decline in population during this period – and has now posted three consecutive years of population decline.
Kind of sounds familiar.
Louisiana Politics:
State run by John Bel Edwards Democrat. Louisiana Constitution makes Governor center of state power. Legislators are almost toothless compare to most other states. But Republicans dominate everything else.
Economic Policy:
Tax and Spend. Louisiana has highest taxes in Deep South.
The Results:
Huge budget shortfalls, and plans to raise more taxes. Louisiana is another of the 8 states to lose population.
