Interesting question. 
If Biden werent running for Pres, I could see it, but it would be detrimental to his campaign if he was hiding behind exec privilege after insisting there was nothing untoward about it.

That would have to mean Obama was aware and is invoking privilege of the presidency. He won't due to that reason alone.
