I am almost settled on the idea that the entire Q movement was set up after 2016 and put into motion by team globalist as a 3 year gas lighting exercise. The purpose of which was to create a false sense of confidence among the America First and conservative ranks that was strategized to be used against them after the election. It his hard to see it any other way at this point.

I still don't even know what Q is, and I'm fairly well informed.
It's partially by design.
ETA: to the extent Q is just a collection of information and ideas about deep state, globalists, great resets, and pedo rings, then I don't know what would be controversial about all of that, as it all exists verifiably.
Beyond that no clue.

I believe Q was so popular because it played on our DEEP desire for justice.

Q was almost certainly Trump's propaganda channel. It appealed to conservatives who get drawn to conspiracy theory.

I'm not sure what the frick is going on but it seems too well put together to be a run of the mill troll. Whether domestic or foreign, it appears to be weaponized for sure. I love Trump and his policies and welcomed anyone who joined the good side, but it was apparent this summer that Q's reach had moved beyond the fringes of the internet and pervaded the mainstream. Friends who were never involved in politics became overly passionate about it and fast forwarding it has now totally consumed them. I'm not sure where this goes? At some point they have to all realize it's shite, right? What happens when they finally wake up one day and realize none of it will happen? It totally undermined anyone who loved Trump's America first policies.

I have a sneaking feeling that while most will, the True Believers will find something to hang on. I'm already seeing posts about the "True Inauguration Date" in March. So that likely will be the next goalpost.
