Wonder if Russia has set up missiles in Nicaragua yet??

They had approved doing military exercises there back in June.
Wondering if they set up a few...just for defensive purposes, you know kinda like NATO.

Only we are allowed to have our military bases and weapons scattered around the world on foreign soil indefinitely. Because we're the good guys!
When Trump was telling NATO members to pay their fair share, he fundamentally misunderstood the real purpose of NATO. We use NATO to keep Europe toothless. They get to engage in their little liberal social utopia experiments while gratefully sniveling in our shadow for "protecting" them. It's the cost of our empire and because we have the weapons and the global logistical structure to deploy them, they do whatever we want. Trump was right to suggest leaving NATO and giving Europe their balls back.

SFP says these analogies aren't appropriate because we're not in the Cold War. Except for being closer to WWIII/nuclear annihilation than we have been since the Cold War.

Its funny, outside the US, the US is viewed as being run by some cabal behind a few bumbling fools, and the fear is those fools may step in it like they brought covid and out of control inflation to the world.

Consider we are willing to give Iran 100s of billions to not develop a nuke....whats it worth to have a few actually set up in Nicaragua, a trillion or more? Heck even agree to put it in a hedge fund and have Hunter run it...
