Trump has seen positive results in many areas where "experts" were predicting doom and gloom.

Why the doubt now on the trade tariffs?

He has preached this for years, way before being a candidate.

I say we trust him.

Detractors, doubters, skeptics, I'm open minded. What say ye?

I don’t doubt. Wish he would impose tariffs on the import autos like others do ours.

The only reason there's doubters/opposition is because it was her turn.

What we have been doing the last 40 years on trade hasn’t been working. I am willing to take a wait and see approach before criticizing or saying the sky is falling.

Just like keeping people in government positions who suck for 4 years. What is the point? People are so used to the status quo and think everything is ‘chaos’ when the career politicians and establishment reward people for incompetence.

That's very played out. Corporate bankruptcies are often used to allow the company to restructure debt, and are very common. Are you suggesting he isn't a successful business man?

Probably never. I think three of his companies filed to reorganize before though. But out of many operations, it isn't that bad.

In case you haven't noticed the whiners who cannot cope with defeat need something to wail about every day.

He's actually a terrible business man. What he is a genius at is selling his brand which got him elected.

Even on fox this morning they said this does nothing to China even though we have a huge trade deficit with them.

Steel tarrif was tried before under Bush and it failed

Why? I haven't seen anything that says he's got the magic touch yet.

WTF?

I'm not overly impressed with him as POTUS yet but I think this is a bit of an overreaction.

Chamber of Commerce talking points. i'm just a little concerned that they will fail because they fall short of the degree to which they need to be implemented to be successful.
