Wilmington, North Carolina; Early voting shows large turnout on first day

This is a known democrat town that shocked and went for Trump in 2016. Lara Trump was just here.
From the write up of the article they quoted one voter and it is hard to tell which way he was going.
Personally I have never seen LINES to vote here in N.C. and I have lived & voted in this county and another one for 16 years. The other county just across the line is rural and also reported long lines that are unheard of.
Something is up. Obama started this early voting in 08 and I never saw or heard of hour long lines outside of Charlotte, the triangle area--even there I don't think it was like this.

In Pender county (rural farmland) Hampstead/Surf City/Topsail Island beaches in 08-- (the black people were out handing out stuff at the polls looking at you like you best vote for OUR GUY or you are racist) So far I see none of this this year.

Best beach is Topsail. Treasure Island Carolina Beach & Wrightsville beach have gone to hell. Slowly turning into Myrtle. DUI speed trap checkpoints and tourists don't jive. Money hungry. Wright Bch is no smoking, drinking large fine on the spot. Oak Island still good.

Yep and that black chick in her pajamas is how everyone dresses. Locals especially in the winter when tourists are gone are in PJs and shorts. No one GAF. Up north (I have lived in a lot of places) people don't do PJs in public

I worry because we get a lot of New Yorkers escaping. There is barely any land remaining to build. So the next county (Pender) is getting full from the yankees escaping now. They better not vote for the same garbage they escaped.

I’m in Swain County. I’m hearing there are lines, but not as long as what is being reported elsewhere in the state. People are MAGA here and are excited to vote for POTUS. My wife and I had planned on voting November 3rd, but are now considering voting early.
