Will you die if you eat beans 2 weeks old from the fridg?

...Im about to eat some canned baked beans with hot wings.The canned baked beans were put in the fridge almost two weeks ago...smell, look and tast OK to me.
I looked on the web and the most comon response was yes you will die...but not from the beans.
I laughed out loud and am gonna eat the beans...maybe...i may have a fresh can of cheap beans in the cubbard.
I do agree with those that said yes i would die one day....and may have the shits the next couple of days if the beans have mold or spoilage,
Wish me luck.
I'm a divorced bachelor, so it could be a few days before anyone knows I've passed......gas.......or died.

Nope. just had old red beans and rice. Stayed out on stove for 3 days (first weekend of Nov) and then I noticed one of the dogs checking it out so threw them in the fridge.
Just finished them off. However, none of the dogs will touch them. I'm on my own on this one.

If they're still in the can you should absolutely throw them away. Otherwise you're probably good. But people have different reactions to food poisoning. Have you had it in the past? If so base your action on your past experience. I'm never had food poisoning that amounted to more than an unpleasant day but I've seen people have very different experiences.

I can honestly say that I've never seen a username check out so accurately. Not in 8 years of posting and upwards of 30,000 posts has something been so accurate that I just needed a moment to sit back and contemplate.
