Will Trump Debate a Democrat in 2020? Don't count on it

I don’t blame him though, MSNBC, ABC, CNN would be a shitty group given the shite they’ve slung the last few years.

I’ll grant you he isn’t doing to Lincoln versus Douglas level, but do shite debaters plow through a 16 candidate republican field and then the democratic nominee in a process stacked in her favor. Basically this. His worst moment was “draw new lines” regarding health insurance interstate competition and it cost him nothing in the polls. Not to mention he is liable to make fun of someone’s hair or call them nasty or sick on stage and Trump goes down as a world class effective (not necessarily “best”) debater

Trump won the primaries because he sucked all the oxygen out of the room, dominated the news cycles, got 2 billion dollars in free media coverage from the lefty MSM who mistakenly and foolishly thought he was the best matchup for Hillary Clinton and had a hell of a way of changing the news cycle like he did rolling out a Christie endorsement the morning after he had a very poor debate showing against Rubio and Cruz and GOP candidates were fighting each other for the right to take on Trump one on one and in the end they just crushed each other and paved the path for Trump to the nomination.
This idea that Trump just crushed the primary debates is historical revisionism.
