I watched the whole thing every day on TV. I told my wife "Thomas is telling the truth and Hill is lying."
She asked how I knew.
I had read a study on body language the year before. When a person is leaning forward with the crown of the head forward, nose down and eyes up they are telling the truth.
When a person is leaning back with head tilted back, nose in the air and eyes down they are lying.
The difference in their positions was dramatic.

Before the modern era, the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings were the political low point of my lifetime. It was Alinskyism in Full and almost every Democratic Senator acted with the integrity of Harry Reid on a bad day. It was an absolutely shameful display of Leftist Agitprop.
