frick no.

Nothing like a heaping dose of elitism and tut-tutting from entertainers 45 days before an election.

Although...will BLM or RBG be the cause of the night?

They are probably going to give a lifetime achievement award to Ruthie

And then go on a rant about something SCOTUS related

All acceptance speeches will contain equal parts unfettered rage for Trump and inconsolable tears for Ginsburg.

Wonder what they can throw together for a RGB gift bag? Maybe PETA and Planned Parenthood can get together for a pro-abortion/ethical treatment of animals themed gift?

EMMY NOMINEES GET VEGAN GIFT BAG FILLED WITH SNACKS MADE BY BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES

quote:

81 Shares Ahead of Sunday’s 72nd annual (and for the first time, virtual) Primetime EMMY Awards, nominees will receive a gift bag filled with vegan treats made by Black-owned businesses. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and marketing firm Distinctive Assets compiled the gift bag with the dual purpose of introducing celebrities to delicious vegan treats and supporting Black-owned companies that make them.

This year’s snack bag contains nacho cheese-flavored kale chips (made by the San Diego-based company MylkDog owned by Bethovan Enhancing); oat butter spread (made by Los Angeles-based Oat Butter Brand founded by entrepreneur Jakera Willis); marshmallows (made by Austin-based Funky Mellow); and herb-infused popcorn (created by Azzizah’s Herbal Green Popcorn made by Los Angeles entrepreneur Azziah Rahim). The bag also includes a signature Sampler Collection from San Diego-based Maya’s Cookies—filled with cookies in Birthday Cake, Snickerdoodle, Marble Fudge, Classic Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip S’mores, and Funfetti flavors.

“I’m pinching myself that our delicious cookies will be part of the Distinctive Assets ‘Best of Quarantainment’ Nominee Gift Bags honoring the year’s best and brightest stars,” Maya’s Cookies founder Maya Madsen said. After experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Maya’s Cookies reported a 10,000-percent increase in sales as the Black Lives Matter movement gained momentum this summer. “We knew PETA’s vegan snack bag wouldn’t be complete without PETA Business Friend Maya’s Cookies,” PETA Senior Manager Lauren Thomasson said. “After one bite of these delicious vegan delights, TV’s biggest stars will also be singing Maya’s praises.

It will be insufferable and I predict the ratings will be an all time low.
