Will the DeSantis/Trump GOP Civil War lead to a Perot/Bush/Clinton repeat?

Seems like there's going to be a lot of blood in the water.

The bushes want power again as bad as the Clintons. Since they finally came to the realization that their name is trash, they found a nice puppet. It’s sad when someone doesn’t know that they’re finished

Doesn’t matter. Look at the 2020 election….
- Do you believe 80 mil people voted for someone brain dead? If so, it’s over.
or
- Do you believe they rigged the election for said brain dead? If so, it’s over.

Probably.
Normally primary fights are limited to ideas. Candidates jockeying for position on popular policies. The appearance at least of camaraderie.
Bruising, personal primaries usually lead to failure in the general.
Buchanan vs Bush in 92
Kennedy vs Carter in 80

Maybe, but only if DeSantis takes a lead in the primaries and Trump bails before actually losing to form his own party...and I'm not seeing that honestly.
I do worry that Trump is going to unnecessarily wound DeSantis...a guy that was UNIVERSALLY understood to be the obvious #2 to Trump and heir apparent in 2028 and he'll be done after this.
And the retort will be..."Well he should have stayed out of the race," rather than on the behavior that ultimately wounded him.

If the Ronbots get their way yes

And “getting our way” entails…what?

Well as DeSantis only guy I hope the GOP explodes in 2024. Trump needs to be purged and when he loses in 2024 that is the beginning of his end, patience is needed.

Donald Trump will absolutely lose the Republican nomination and when that happens, he'll run as an Independent. This will guarantee eight more years of entrenched progressive rule.
If President Nero can't have it. No Republican will. You can count on this.

Like Trump.

Maybe if you live in a major metropolitan area that saw the significant cheating, you should reach out to James O'Keefe and join his group then become good with election judges and do this country a service? Just a question.

So you’re going with the first one?

yup he should have. it was stupid to let GOPe RINOS control him now. trumpers were willing to support ron in 2028. ron woulda strolled to the nomination had he stayed patient and let trump finish up. he fricked up bad. real bad and now trump will knock him out and it very well may ruin his future.

This civil war is Ron's for the making. If he wants a civil war and another loss then he'll run. If not, he'll stay governor.
It's definitely not Trump's war.

Dam well thought out rebuttal. But it's a predictable response when you got nothing else to respond with. I'm guessing you're in agreement tho.
