Will Donald Trump Resign his Office?

Bring on the downvotes.
I wouldn't be surprised if he does. But on one condition. That he is ready to pull the final plug on "the swamp."
Early in his presidency someone asked his ex wife Ivana what she thought about a possible second term for Trump and she said (paraphrase), "it depends. Maybe maybe not. Maybe he finishes the job in a single term."
I believe Trump when he says he didn't want to be POTUS but he only did it because it needed doing. He's here to do a job and that job is to clean out the corruption.
So what do y'all think? If it gets to the point where he really is ready to take down and prosecute the swamp, will he walk away so the country can heal? I think everyone should realize the obvious play that comes in if he attempts to round folks up. They'll scream, "he's a dictator!" And people will believe it (just look at social media, it's insane!). So I figure that if he announces he is resigning, it takes a lot of the wind out of the other side's sails and actually allows people come together and talk about what just happened.
These are just my musings. I see this as a potential way to de-escalate things once the shite actually goes down.

I think now more than ever he believes this country is in need of his leadership.
He’s not a quitter.
He’s not a quitter.

Oh, I agree. I don't think he would even consider it until the job is finished.

This comment he just made about George Floyd is pretty fricking stupid.

When Trump won in 2016 I posted here that I didn't think he would run for a second term. The logic:
His age, his money, why take the aggravation.
Now, I'm pretty sure his motive is legacy. He doesn't want to go down in history as a rich real estate guy who was also on TV. He wants to be the guy who made America great again.
