Why the media and democrats are so mad about what happened yesterday

The government is their god and the capitol is their church.
You'd be mad too if someone burned down your church.

It’s bizarre. We live among emotional morons.

The congress became afraid of the people they work for they are not used to that but it is what the founders called for. If the founders where around today not a congressman alive would have made it out alive.
Nancy did call it a temple today.
But...there was a plan in place to use violence as an excuse to not object to the electors.
Biden had a speech prepared for it.

Because so many in the media work out of Washington D.C. and New York City, anything that happens there, that could happen virtually anywhere else in the country without them raising as much as an eyebrow, is deemed the most monumental event since blah-blah-blah. Reference "Superstorm Sandy". It comes from the same place as "flyover country".
TL;DR: The chickens roosted on their doorstep this time.

I don't think they're mad. In fact, I think they're elated.
The capitol wasn't burned, and outside of a few seriously vaginized congress-people, none of them were afraid. It was all theater to show how removed from reality Trump and his supporters are.
The Right didn't think this through. Only conservatives are slow enough on the uptake to be tarred/feathered in the media and in Congress for getting one of its own unjustifiably murdered by Nancy Pelosi's police department.

The DNC removed God from their platform in 2016 and by default invalidates the notion of individual sovereignty, the cornerstone of our political system.
Which is why they have no issue now and forever after rigging elections in their favor.

I don't think they were as outraged as they pretended to be.
With Pence's letter to Congress prior to the formal electoral vote count, events were likely to play out as they did... except the interruption caused by protestors storming (using that word lightly) their chambers took away any potential airtime evidence of fraud may have gotten, and seemed to make more Republicans back down from attempting to challenge the results / support the President. Plus, it gave the Democrats airtime to blame Trump.
All in all I think they are pleased.

Also, to take attention away from the rigged election by putting the focus on DJT through deflection and distraction.
Agreed. Also, if they weren't concerned about the future political sway of Trump, they wouldn't be going so far out of their way to tie Trump into this as the direct cause. I think they'd just do their best to tough it out and finally be done with him. But nope, not so fast.
Clearly, they know he will continue to be the big dog, thus they're forced to continue the operation to handicap him in any way possible.

It’s the temple where they sacrifice the American Dream
In my opinion they didn’t think republicans had the balls to do something like this. Yesterday was a huge shock to them.
The only thing they can do is try to have the media crucify it.
