Why not just split the US into 2 pieces?

at the Mississippi River but around TX; Reps on the right and Dems out west and just be done with it. This way they can have their precious fricking border and everything that goes with it.

You say give The Democrats the border but Texas has, by far, the most border territory. Also, if anything we would switch sides. The reddest states in the country are west of the Mississippi.
