Why make the assumption that blacks being more unhealthy is due to structural racism?

Rather than other factors?

Blacks disproportionately live in the south, a region with the most unhealthy cuisine in the world.

If the “structural racism” angle is correct, you’d expect blacks living in Colorado or the pacific NW to be unhealthier than whites living in Mississippi or Kentucky. But that isn’t the case

Most of the American population ....could probably be called unhealthy and unfit.

They a lot of fat or too skinny frickers out there, of all skintones.

I never thought unhealthy and unfit America was related to skintone.

It could also be genetic couldn't it?

Native Americans are more apt to become addicted to alcohol because of something in their genetics.

African Americans are more apt to have a sickle cell disease because of their genetics that connect them to places in Africa where malaria was endemic.

Structural or systematic racism is one of those BS terms that people and media can attribute any negative qualities or actions to when any evidence of actual racism is non-existent so that people don't need to be held accountable for their decisions and actions.

I'm a cook and I have shared some of my stuff with black co-workers who shared their stuff with me.
They use a LOT of salt. It's not good for the blood pressure.

I don't think anyone's arguing that it's the only cause of health disparities among blacks. There are plenty that have nothing to do with race.
