Why is virtually everyone ignoring Durham’s statement?
Posted by TigrrrDad on 12/10/19 at 3:44 am272
I’m late to the party, but just read the full thread on the IG report and most of the threads on the first page. It seems like everyone is practically ignoring Durham’s statement, which to me is the most relevant thing anyone posted here today. The IG report if loaded with findings of wrongdoing, and the conclusions drawn by the IG are irrelevant. Durham is the guy holding the hammer.
Thank you for pointing that out. I missed that, and I agree this is important. This is only the beginning, after all. I was not expecting arrests today, or tomorrow, or next week. Most of this will be handled in a non-sensationalistic manner where astute followers can connect the dots for some of us. The full picture is coming, but it must be revealed slowly and correctly.

You will note he talks about the "origin". Over and over you have heard Barr say "where did it all start".
The FISA was a cover up for the spying they were already doing and got caught by Mike Rogers. The week they were caught Simpsons wife visited the WH (its documented on the visitor log), and within the next month Fusion GPS had hired Ohr's wife and Steele and the dossier "was born" or rather rewritten to fit the new target...Trump.
Brennan was no doubt spying on several individuals with full knowledge and support of the WH. And I doubt its just presidential nominees, probably senators, judges, press etc. And it does involve foreign agencies as well.
Why the heck do you think the head of GCHQ quit the week Trump was elected???

No one has been a better voice on this than Judicial Watch and Tom Fitton. He said almost a year ago that Horowitz would be nothing, back when everyone was tick tocking.
He told Fox Business yesterday to prepare for more of the same with Barr and Durham.
Do you really think the most powerful deep state bureaucrats, such as Comey, Brennan, Strzok, etc, are actually going to be held accountable to the law like ordinary Americans, such as you and I? Do you think they are going to allow those scandals to be laid bare before everyone in the courts?
I get it. It’s tough to swallow. It’s hard...really hard...to admit that we are a banana republic. That people in our government are above the law and accountable to no one. That our laws, our elections, our Constitution...the things we hold dear, the very fabric of our being...are now in tatters. That the whole thing is a sham is a cold, hard fact to accept.
I just watched Jerry Nadler openly and flagrantly violate several House rules of procedure today. When Collins and Gaetz called him on it repeatedly, quoting and reading the House rules and demanding he explain why he was violating the House rules, Nadler just shrugged and smiled.
These are the people in power in our government today. And they extend far beyond our eyes and ears.
It’s enough to make you not be able to sleep, as it’s doing to me right now. This isn’t entertaining or funny. It’s tragic.

No need to worry about things you cannot change. Turn off the TV or change the channel to something other than news.

Time to illegitimize our government. No one vote. If we cut the numbers in half, and only 30% of population voted...we’d no longer have a viable government. 20% would be even better...and it would be great if the right just absolutely stayed home. frick them, we should not add credence to their actions. It’s not for the people, and it sure as duck isn’t by the people.

Because they are negative little bitches.

Because the IG whitewash undermines any case Durham might be building. Any charges he brings now can easily be refuted by a defense attorney holding up yesterday's report and saying the DOJ's own Inspector General found nothing criminal.

That defense attorney would be laughed out of the courtroom. That would be equivalent to Enron saying that their HR department says that we are good.

No, you just need to prepare accordingly. The collapse is coming. Just a matter of when, not if.
I'm not talking going off the prepper deep end or anything, although if that's your thing go for it. Just simple things like making sure you own property away from major metro areas, can defend it from looters, etc.
The cities will burn. The rest of the rural country should be fine. Just make sure you have enough popcorn when we run out of other people's money.

No it would be the equivalent of the DOJ saying Enron did nothing illegal and then prosecuting them.
I have no idea why everyone is ignoring this statement.
He’s basically acknowledging that he is going to indict people.
The conclusions of the IG are legally irrelevant to anything.
They’re just opinions. And opinions are just like something else everyone has . . .

The problem is that because of how the two IG reports have been worded anything that Durham does now will easily be spun by the media and Trump attackers as political payback. Durham isn't expected to do anything until next summer anyway, maybe even after the election now.
