Why is there no affirmative action in the NBA/NFL?

Anyone want to hazard a guess why affirmative action policies are not present in these leagues?
Surely if affirmative action policies are in place for medical schools training our future caregivers, they should be in place for our viewing pleasure

Black privilege. You can't tell me that the players and management wouldn't benefit from having the kind of cultural enrichment that Indians and Vietnamese etc. would bring to the team. We should get the conversation started.

Better example is teaching. My son’s elementary school only had no teachers that were male. The only full time male employee was the head maintainence guy. If diversity is a strength, then why are we not recruiting more male teachers?

The 24” spinning rim and pet tiger industry have a surprisingly effective lobby and They damn sure don’t want a bunch of responsible whites making “pro athlete money”. That would NOT be good for business!
