Their specialty has long been to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They cant handle prosperity.

GOP and democrats are one in the same
Posted on 1/30/17 at 6:38 pm to KaiserSoze99
They're letting the Dems hang themselves as obstructionists. See: Interim Deputy AG
And they're saving the nuclear options for the SCOTUS.

They already did that.
The GOP is the dude at the bar who is getting all the signals from these two hot chicks. They're over there kissing each other and dancing, looking at him and giving him the "come hither" gestures. All he has to do is go over and say "hi" and he gets a long night of hot threesome sex. But, he just WILL NOT go say hello. Instead, he goes home and jacks off.

What was the first thing the Republican Congress did when they convened in early January?
They tried to gut the ethics committee! With all the important matters facing them and they tried to gut the ethics committee!
They can never unring that bell!

Because they calculate slowly.
They did not calculate for a Trump victory.
The protest and MSM scares them right now.
Its who the elites in both parties are.
I'm watching Trump. Its fun and I don't know whats happening next. Watching the GOPe is sad and predictable.

Because both parties are the same for the most part. They are career politicians for the most part that feel "elite" because of their title. They take the same donations from the most wealthy to keep a system in place that benefits a few. In order to keep the illusion of a government working for the people, they pretend to be for/against something - usually causes that mean very little - to keep the masses occupied and distracted.
The vast majority of people would do the same thing career politicians do. They're looking out for their best interests, it's human nature.
In short, by keeping the masses pitted against each other, they retain power.

Because McCain, Graham, Ryan, McConnell are no different than Dems. They only act conservative before reelection. They are the worst. At least The Dems have the balls to be who they say they are.

What should they do?
Balance the budget, start working on our debt and cutting bloated gov programs?
Oh wait. They don't want to do that. Talk about cucks. Republican voters are the ultimate.

In fairness, its completely possible that the GOP saw how soundly Americans rejected the dems strongarm tactics over the last 8 years across the entire fricking country and are simply trying to learn from their mistakes.
Maybe.
Maybe they're just cucks.

The GOP is living on borrowed time. They have won the national popular vote only once in the last 7 presidential elections. With the demographic shift that is happening and will continue to happen, I do not see Republicans winning ever again unless they reach out to minorities. The electoral college follows the same demographic trend and there will no chance for the GOP to win the White House.
