I answered that later in the post but clearly I got two whoppers with my “hook”. You and Shrubber. The two replies I got speak volumes to the veracity of my post.

That’s just your perspective. Or perhaps your justification for not standing up for the principle.

Absolutely not. We agree on some things, but we have very different approaches.

Most above average people can see that MAGA is a convoluted mess with low IQ populists trying to destroy all they cant understand.

I don't know which specific principle you're referencing.

No, it's the perspective of MAGA supporters. Hence the easy "cult" label.

They don't permit criticism of Trump, specifically. They permit discussion on issues/policies. But Trump? Off limits.

Whats the principle?

Chase off supporters? Hire swamp rats? Embrace Covidians?

Of course. MAGA is the influence when something good happens to Conservatives. Conservatives are the problem when something bad happens to MAGA.

Sometimes you see a housecat in those ink blots, other times its a lion. Depends on what they want to see.

Are we reading the same forum? Every negative policy decision either wasn’t his fault and/or literally could not have been improved upon by any human on the planet.

What non-MAGA Republicans have effectively reduced spending? Bush? McConnell? Ryan? I'm with you on this issue but I don't see a candidate I can support on reducing federal spending. Who ya got?

That's at least an attempt, albeit a dishonest one.

That's a YUGE improvement from "lol TDS. cuck."

None. Why it has been hard for me to vote for any of them.

But the point is that MAGA loves spending. It's a sign that we're about to collapse when the DEMs do it, but when MAGA does it, it's necessary to avoid collapse. #Logic

Im tired of trump’s stupid comments, and he looks low energy. And hes still one of the best options being given to us.

This says way more about our ruling class than it does Trump.

I'll provide my take on what is actually behind what you view as irrational cultish defense of trump. Many have seen how the democrats win, and have won for decades. Always move in lockstep, prioritize party over everything, rarely criticize your own, deny every criticism as lunacy or conspiracy or lies, never give the useless independents anything to use against you.

Many want republicans to start behaving the same way, because everything else has failed. We marched toward left wing dysfunction and lunacy for decades with only temporarily pauses that are viewed as accomplishments.

They see what these internal conflict is going to do, allow the useless independents to give into social pressure from their idiot friends, idiot companies, idiot media, idiot alma mater, idiot celebrities and maybe even now their idiot church and vote for these irredeemable democrats.

I can't help that "Republicans" now want big government b/c they are scared and think they need it to thwart their perceived out group.

I've never supported or defended radical Christian/Evangelical bull shite. I've always made it clear they are the mob that scares me the most.

You've never supported your boogie man that really doesn't exist, got it.

And, while I love conspiracy theories as entertainment, my refusal to make them my reality has remained.

I don't even know what that means. What conspiracy theories are you refusing to accept as reality?

Everything democrats don't like is labeled a conspiracy theory so it's hard to keep up with what is labeled what.

Then why support the extreme minority/splinter wing? All this is doing is causing dissention and in-fighting.

They see what these internal conflict is going to do,

The conflict Trump literally started. That's the whole thing. He's likely lost voters for the GOP due to this fight he started.

And we can't point this out or else the "in group" types lose their shite about it. Just look at this thread and the accusations of being an RDS supporter or RINO just because you don't support dear leader 100%.

And tying this all up in a person (not a party/idea), means in 2028 it's all fricked anyway.

Pizzagate, Q, ritualistic Satanic-Democratic child rape, globalism, the WEF, "The steal", among many other Boomer CTs spawned during the Trump admin time.

Which of my personal policy positions have changed?

Geez. You want to talk about framing? Go look at the third post of this thread. Look at the entire first page. It’s all people attacking whoever they perceive the OP is referring to. This includes yourself, referring to people as a cult.

You are simply part of another group that focuses on attacking Trump because you have a personal bias against the people that you think support him, based on your own generalizations. It’s tired, and incredibly transparent.

And that’s the OPs answer - criticism of Trump is most often a veiled criticism of the people that support him, and it’s blatantly obvious

Why did so many turn from an attitude of grass roots free thinking tear down the establishment frick the uniparty types to Trump loyalists who rabidly defend him without question and attack anyone who tries to even discuss his positions, short comings, or possible issues? Instead of a push back against the establishment and a voice for change, Trump’s base is turning into a mirror image of the blind rabid sheep on the left and just another cog in the American political machine. It isn’t a good thing.

Popular is about what the majority believes on an issue. You are in the minority.

The majority sees the enemy and wants to defeat it.
