Why is a Continuing Resolution a bad thing?

House just voted on it, Senate dems are pushing back.
Why is a CR a bad thing?
It allows more time for negotiation, seems like our government would rather work against itself than find common ground.
I’m not sure anyone in Washington gives a shite about anything but their re-election numbers.

There are so many things more important.
If Trump wants the wall funded he’s gonna have to bend, that’s politics.
Same goes for dems that want DACA to stay on the books.
We all know the wall will become a boondoggle, and we know that DACA has holes.
This is what simple governance requires. You want this and it’s not perfect, I want this and it’s not perfect. Let’s figure it out.
Instead they just piss on each other.
This shite is broken, and the fact that shutting down the government has become a normal tool of doing business speaks volumes towards the ineptitude of the folks representing us in DC.

Problem is that the Dems want to get what they want with full amnesty for DACA recipients without budging on funding for the wall or the type of immigration reform most of us would like to see

Then call your representative and senator and tell them if they vote for ANYTHING but a clean spending bill you'll vote for the fricking milkman before you vote for them again.

a Continuing Resolution is deciding to do nothing but let things stay as they are and you will fix it later.
they have been putting it off to "fix it later" for almost 12 years now, dont you think its about damn time to actually create a working budget to run the country?
