She was approved by Senate 80-15 less than a year ago. Barrett was approved by a much smaller margin. Can all those Democrats change their votes?

Barrett is my preference and my homegirl, but we need a 9th Judge by November 1.

Apples and oranges. For a seat on an appellate court that is not a high profile circuit like the 2nd or 9th.

I fricking hope not. She does NOT look like someone who will buck the other women on the court.

That's bothersome. Can't take another 'Roberts'.

We need a "originalist" and a "textualist" in the mold of Justice Scalia. Amy Coney Barrett is that person. The dems will raise hell about any pick so let them show how evil they are. They will attack her about religion and parenting.

They will all vote no claiming the unfairness of the situation and the supposed precedent. Doesn't matter who Trump puts up.

It will be interesting to watch them try with a Latino Person in the middle of an election. I think Identity Politics are ridiculous- But to leftists - identify politics are a religion.

I don’t trust the Bushes, but I do trust the Federalist Society. If she were truly that squishy, I don’t see how they recommended her.

For me, being pushed by Rubio...that’s enough for me.

Because Turtle and the GOPe/media/Dems will flip out when they see ACB is has a handmaiden side religious thing deep in her family.

I have a feeling his choice will be AJR

Final answer. I don't need to call a friend or ask the audience.

If not AJR then the Cuban.

this is a dumb reason to pick her. I promise you if it comes down to it not a single Democrat will vote to confirm her. That is a fact

Amy is my choice, but I’m worried that the exigency of the situation will prevail and Mitch will be able to get her thru more easily.

I’m not saying I like it- but I am saying - it will probably happen

I’d settle for 50 and Pence.

Yes. And they will.

They have told you they will block whoever the nominee is by "any means necessary".

Why don't you believe them? They sure as hell did it to Kavanaugh.

Barrett is the best choice.

Mitch is going to have the same fight with any nominee, precisely due to the exigency of the situation.
