Why Has Biden’s IRS Purchased More Than $700K Of Ammo?

Just like the Barry Bathhouse regime....can not take all of the guns so just buy up all of the ammo instead

Gaetz discussed the issue with Breitbart Radio on Saturday. He pointed out in just one three-month span – March 1 to June 1 – federal tax authorities bought $700,000 worth of ammunition.
“The IRS should be people in cubicles with green [eye] shades and calculators,” the Fort Walton Beach Republican said. “They shouldn’t be people with guns and ammo.”
He added that Republicans in Congress are seeking answers.
“There is concern that this is part of a broader effort to have any entity in the federal government buy up ammo to reduce the amount of ammunition that is in supply, while at the same time, making it harder to produce ammo,” Gaetz added.
If that happens, he added, “You cannot fully exercise the complement of your Second Amendment rights if you are unable to acquire ammunition in your own country because your government has reduced the production of that ammunition, and then on the other hand, tried to soak up the supply.”
During the broadcast, Gaetz also reiterated his opposition to red-flag gun laws.
He noted that not only do such laws restrict Second Amendment rights, they also defeat the Constitution’s due-process protections and the judicial system’s “adversarial” set-up.
“It is as wrong as wrong can be,” Gaetz said.

I want to know what they do with it all. They and other agencies that shouldn't be armed have been buying up ammo like this for years.
I want a strategic ammo reserve to be released to lower ammo costs! Do now you crumpy, creepy old pOS potato brained bad joke for a "leader"!

Since our tax dollars paid for all that ammo, it should be redistributed to us citizens who want it. Dems are pro-redistribution, right?

I'll take "shite that shouldn't exist" for $1000, Alex.

I was curious if this was significantly more than in previous years. Hard to find the answer quickly. It does appear to be a pretty decent ramp up on spending if it was really 700k worth of just ammo in 3 months.
There were also some fairly recent articles that said the IRS already had 5 million rounds they were sitting on. I think it's time to stop buying.

They ran this exact same headline multiple times on Obama.

Probable: they have to spend the money in their budget in order to ask for MORE money in the coming year.
Hopeful: planning a mass suicide.

Biden Administration cutting off ammo supply to general public
I heard this today. As the story goes manufactures sell ammo to government. The excess about 30% goes to GP. Winchester says that if they stop selling to GP in a time of crisis they would not be able to ramp up for the military.
So here they go weakening America in order to stop the GP from having rights

Probably a click-bait headline. I'd bet it was the Treasury Department that bought it for the Secret Service. They're constantly training at the range.

This is as big a joke as anything that could be said about this.

Why?
Nothing happens the Republicans don't know about or are in on. The idea that this was news to them and they have no idea what is going on is laughable.
They are the party of do nothings.

From a 2019 Forbes article:
Forbes
That is over 1,100 rounds per weapon.
If Joe Citizen has over 1,000 rounds per weapon, MSM considers him to be a domestic terrorist or potential mass murderer.
But the IRS special agents need this extra ammo because of their proclivity at "Office Pops"

(Yes, Hank, I know that last GIF was of an FBI agent, not IRS...still too funny not to include)

The IRS has a very hard job to do, especially now. But you might wonder about the IRS inventory of weapons. An official report says that at the end of 2017, the tax agency had 4,487 guns and 5,062,006 rounds of ammunition in its weapons inventory. So says this report published by the Government Accountability Office.

According to a report by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), special agents at the IRS Criminal Investigation Division (IRS-CI) accidentally fired their weapons more often than they intentionally fired them:

They buy it so that there will be less available for law abiding gun owners.

It’s for the 2,200 special agents in the Criminal Investigations division. They pursue criminal cases of tax fraud which can involves busting down doors with warrants to obtain records, and other evidence. A lot of those being investigated mostly drug cartel money launderers, and other organized crime would rather shoot back than hand over evidence.

You can't take out an F-16 without ammo
