Why does the GOP hate Bob Mueller?

Robert Mueller III, is what one consider an American patriot. High school athlete, Princeton graduate. Volunteered for the Vietnam war, takes AK-47 bullet to the thigh, receives Purple Heart. Goes on to serve professional career where he takes down John Gotti...is selected by the US Senate in a vote of 98-0 to become the head of the FBI on Sept 4, 2011. Goes on to head the 9/11 report.
Move forward 15 years, a millionaire real estate agent / game show host becomes Pres (R) embroiled in self-inflicted controversy. The USA again calls on the service of Mr Mueller to investigate how the USSR infiltrated the 2016 election process.
Just weird how 76% of Republicans find Bob Mueller untrustworthy. They find an 71 yo con artist, five time draft dodger more trust worthy because he’s the POTUS and has an (R) by his name. Let the upvotes begin.

I respect veterans service absolutely, but the ball washing of vets gets out if hand sometimes. These are flawed people just like everyone else and capable of evil. I guess it's hero worship, but just because someone served in the military doesnt mean they can do no wrong.
