Why does Napoleon get credit?

He literally did the same thing Hitler did and everybody thinks hes a hero.
The dude was a massive failure of a military commander and his actions caused france to be invaded and their women raped.

I dunno about that. The French revere him, but he didn’t commit massive wide scale genocide upon millions of people. He got his arse kicked by the English and Prussians (twice).
