People settle down and realize the juice isn't worth the squeeze. For white male Catholic millennials who have been told they're wrong about everything the past 3 years, there is a big issue

so I've heard

To be competent? Not even a little bit.

To be purposefully deceitful and harmful? As a government? For the most part. As individual political parties and ideologies? Not at all.

That is guaranteed.

Trust isn’t the right word. People have a strong inclination to conform. Dissenting has powerful psychological impacts that many of us are not equipped to handle. So people don’t trust the government; they trust that their prospects are better by going along.

I have no idea why anyone believes them. But our media has done a terrific job of not reporting on things that matter.

Most people will say they don't trust government, then want government to "solve" problems by reorganizing government institutions to push worldviews that they agree w/.

Public schools come to mind immediately on this issue.

I don't trust government at all. In fact, nearly every single reason given to justify slavery is a reason given to justify the existence of government.

Think about how much government must suck; They KNOW they need to extort us for money, otherwise, they wouldn't exist.

This board must LOVE the federal government, as we are bound and determined to run the biggest government Republican candidate available. Love thise government checks I assume.

You are in an echo chamber of like minded posters. I would suggest taking this question to twitter.

Generally, the average tax payers doesn't trust the government. So, as we have been taught our entire lives some responsible tax payers vote for change except that change never happens. Not in any noticeable way.
What next? If we continue to accept things as they are, we have no right bitching about it.
If we want to do something about it, what next? Taxpayers need some options, new ways to be heard and taken seriously.
That is the question... What next?

A more complex question would be:

Do you trust govt more than the media?

Rush Limbaugh was of the opinion that journalists were to the left of the Dem politicians. And Dem politicians strive to please the media.
