They hear as few cases as possible and when they are needed they were nowhere to be found.

Why do we keep this panel around?

Trial by combat would probably slow down the frivolous lawsuits.

Our founding fathers established the SCOTUS to defend Americans' rights and liberties against encroachment—particularly by an overbearing national government. The Supreme Court's major purpose is preventing such overstepping.

You mean like being fined/taxed for not buying a product the govt tells you to (often from whom they say at the price they set), regardless if you want it or not? That kind of overstepping?

To enshrine true American values into law.

Like abortion, and pee-pee in the poo-poo.

So your position is that frivolous lawsuits dominate the SCOTUS?

I'm not sure what this means. Their docket is full every year.

Well, there are disputes between states that have to be settled. What grinds my gears is the SC of all entities, not using Constitutional restraint themselves. Cases should only be eligible to go to the SC if the Constitution says the federal government has power granted to it concerning the subject. If the Constitution does not grant the feds power, that includes the Supreme Court, making state Supreme Courts the law.

What subjects do you think the SCOTUS has twin up that they shouldn’t have?

Corrupt as the rest of the Feds
Even ACB got a book deal. How long was that in the works?
