Why do absentee / early ballots disproportionately favor Dems?

Seems this way every time. Seems odd that this category is overwhelmingly for whatever Dem is on the ballot. Makes you wonder why that is...

Just coincidence you xenophobe!

Lazy, unemployed demographic with no means to get out and vote in person and on time.

Because they can do whatever they want with them.

Because Dems have major operations in major cities to register as many people as they can, whether they want to or not. They then vote for them.
It’s literally that simple and it’s easy to fix and stop.
It’s called in person voting with ID. At the very least it makes it harder to cheat.

Yeah it was all fun and games when the game was for democrats to bus people to the polls. Now shite is real. Of course there are latent lazy “gimme” votes out there. That’s why it’s not hard for me to believe Biden got so many votes. Never before have Dems had it so easy.

Part of it is there was a shite ton of ballot harvesting that went on in big blue cities in 2020 but also I think in general Republicans are just more likely to vote in person on election day as they don't trust the vote by mail process as much

Because they are lazy-arse cheaters.

It’s also definitely not bc they’re too busy at work…

Wasn't usually the case. Older people and the military tended to vote early, which generally favored R's (not a lock by any means).
But COVID happened:
1. The rules changed. Democrats took advantage of the situation.
2. Trump actively discouraged his supporters to do anything but vote early in key states like PA because his plan was to get those votes ruled unacceptable (because the rules changed through non-legislative means). He predictably lost that battle. Judges tend to rule on the side of letting voters vote.

quote:Historically (pre-2016), absentee ballots tended to favor GOP candidates in the VAST majority of races. Why? In my opinion, it was because casting an absentee ballot required the exercise of MORE planning and forethought. Additionally, GOP officials actively advocated for their voters to utilize this tool.
Lazy, unemployed demographic with no means to get out and vote in person and on time.
Two major things changed.
First, Donald Trump came on the scene and started proselytizing about how unsecure he thought the process was. So fewer GOP voters utilized the tool. (Trump’s approach seems odd, given that it was GOP absentee votes in 2016 that put Trump over the top in several key states.)
Second, COVID hit, and it became much EASIER and less-complicated to vote by mail. So more Dem voters utilized the tool. Net result, mail-in voting favored the Dems in 2020.

I'm not doubting that a shite ton of idiots voted for him buy even in the left's wildest fantasy would Biden ever get more votes than Obama.
In Oct 2020, I traveled through 7 states and I counted signs for Trump versus Biden and it was overwhelmingly in the Trump court. Biden signs were extremely rare, counting only a handful through 7 states. I'm talking over 500-1 in favor of Trump. We even found some 70+ car Trump parade in the middle of fricking nowhere Missouri.
They cheated. No doubt in my mind.

Not just more votes. More black votes. Even though Trump increased his % of the black vote.
Yeah, bull fricking shite.

Democrats have invested TONS of money in 'canvassers'
Those folks go through all of the high density areas and make sure everyone is represented by a ballot. No chance 30% of these folks cared enough to go to the polls...but in 2020, their votes made it there.
