Barack the Great should have warned the American people. They tried to put out a bipartisan statement on Russian interference before the election but McConnell wouldn't sign onto it. At that point Obama should've addressed it himself but he didn't. Dropped the ball on that one - Russia was committing felonies trying to affect the election and spread propaganda and most people were unaware.

Obama wanted to release information on the Russian involvement in the 2016 campaign but he hesitated because he was afraid it would backlash as a partisan effort to support Hillary.
In September 2016 Obama wanted to issue a joint bipartisan statement about the Russian involvement but McConnell wouldn't sign it because he said he questioned the underlying intelligence.
When he was asked by Buzzfeed why he wouldn't sign it McConnell’s office it “would not violate federal law by providing classified information.”

Are you asking me to take responsibility for Obama not warning the American people? Are you under the impression that I worked in the Obama administration?
I'll certainly criticize him for that decision - he made the wrong choice not warning America about the crimes being committed by Russians.

Well the hacking of the DNC and Podesta's emails involve several felonies each. The recent indictments allege violations of election laws and bank and wire fraud.
And that's just what's public.
ETA: pretty sure identity theft has been alleged as well.

I can't tell if posters on this board get more emotional over Obama or Hillary. There are probably posters here that think that Obama hates football and God and cheeseburgers and beer because those are things that they love
