A poster made the comment that these teams were terrible and that Bozo's comments were therefore acceptable. I merely pointed out that Navy had won 9 games and was ranked No. 25 at the time of his comment.

Of course, at that point, Zach comes stumbling into the conversation and shouted from his trailer park that Navy isn't ranked because they lost, which per usual was completely irrelevant to the conversation....unless he's claiming Bozo can see into the future and knew that Navy would lose the game and therefore become undeserving of a top 25 ranking.

Mel Kiper's mock draft didn't keep Navy from being ranked and Army from having a winning season. Less than 15% of games this year featured a ranked team vs a winning team. Trump was wrong: it certainly was some of the best football this year.

The argument about whether or not Navy is ranked is not even relevant to this topic, though, regardless of who brought it up.

Trump didn't say either team was bad or any of the players were bad. He said it wasn't great football, which is 100% accurate. It was objectively very sloppy and undisciplined and subjectively bad to watch in the first half.

I think it's pointless to say it, I'll agree with you there. But it is not the best football.

If you want to watch the best football you go to LSU Alabama (in TS) or Ohio State Michigan at either venue. Those are competitive games with the best college athletes, highest paid staffs, and most intimidating venues.

Who did navy beat? A 4-8 Notre Dame and a 9-3 AAC team?

Navy beat Notre Dame, Houston, and has multiple victories over many Power 5 opponents in the last decade.

Navy has more wins this year than LSU and a lot of other teams.
