Why did Flynn deliberately lie to the FBI?

Remember Comey said Flynn did not make a false statement. He probably saw were that false statement would take him and did not want to go there. Mueller on the other hand does not have the same political pressure from the Clinton/Obama clan.
Also remember General Michael Flynn is a former military intelligence spook. He is not a dumb guy. Is Flynn leading Mueller somewhere, where Comey apparently didn’t want to go that Mueller may have been reluctant to go?

I don't know but I did see an odd Tweet late last night. Apparently, CNN trotted out a guy who served with Flynn and he was doing a character assassination. That struck me as an odd route for CNN to take so soon after the news broke.

This is what I'm wondering too.
All I can think is because everyone was freaking out about anything to do with Russia he was scared to mention he was instructed to reach out to them as part of the transition.
It's beyond dumb this has reached the point it has.
It's nothing but a hit job on Trump.

I wonder if Flynn will spill the beans on some illegal activity within the Obama admin. He was in the admin during Uranium 1 approval and probably has inside info on the Clinton/DNC fake Russian dossier. Also, there was a reason Tony Podesta stepped down from his company and it wasn't for retirement.
If anyone knows where the bodies are buried from the Obama admin, it's Flynn. It's probably why he was fired, why they spied on him illegally, and why they tried to destroy him.

Flynn wasn't part of the Trump admin long enough to do much.
Most of the story he would have to tell would be about the prior admin.
MSM already painting him as a liar now so nothing he says will be believed.

That is the million dollar question. Have to assume its to cover something up be it involving just himself or other people. I still feel like Kushner will be involved in all of this with all his issues on the disclosures.
