Both Trump and Biden agree that it was past time to leave. We are leaving. Afghanistan's future is its own issue.

Because they’re looking for anyone to blame and Trump is the easy target.

Trumps plan works when the guy sitting in the chair is willing to unleash hell.

The current guy, not so much.

You can pull out, but there should have been a full military presence until they removed the people that helped with the war effort.

He didn’t. Biden undid everything Trump did and this has lead to complete f*cking disaster all over the f*cking world including this country.

In a matter of a week he wiped out all of Trumps previous policies but he just inherited a bad deal from Trump on Afghanistan? Pretty hilarious. The Paris accord, Iran Nuke deal, border, KeyStone etc. all were good to go but just could do anything about Afghanistan, hmmm.

True, but Biden is in charge and could have implemented some/all/none of Trump’s plan. This result happened on his watch.

The time to bug out of Afghanistan was during the winter months or outside of what it’s called the “fighting season“. Instead we decided we would wait until the end of summer which gave the Taliban all the time and opportunity to prepare and then advance. This was 100% all on Biden‘s watch. If he was serious, & wasn’t worried about saving face, he should’ve pulled us out by March or April.

Your boy is either incompetent or doesn’t give a shite. Not a good look for a guy that claims to be a foreign policy expert.

What did he say on July 8th?…”the Taliban doesn’t have the capacity to take over AFG, this won’t be Saigon”…almost laughing and scoffing at that notion. They did it in less than a week…Biden hasn’t addressed the Nation since it started and hiding at camp David eating ice cream.

You don’t even have the spine to admit he completely fkd up!

Not surprising.

We should not be surprised that Joe Biden was in office as a senator during the fall of Saigon as well as the fall of Kabul . This is the failure of systemic deep state establishment government

Is this the only plan he didn't toss in the toilet and empty his colotomy bag onto after getting into office? It seems like literally everything else Trump did he purposefully EOed an end to.

I'm glad he followed through. 20 plus years & 2 deadlines is ample time. The Afghan soldiers/ militias lack of will to fight on their own makes this decision much more easy.

Biden has spent the whole time throwing out everything Trump has done, but they are trying to get us to believe Trump forced him to let Afghanistan fall in 2 weeks?

Correct, as did most Americans. How we left was as important and in no way did Trumps plan, with the information available, anticipate the cluster this has become. Joe Biden and his administration did nothing in response to the changing intel on the ground in the past 7 months. Anyone with an IQ above a turnip saw the original plan was falling apart months ago. Biden was simply too busy persecuting political opponents at home to be bothered with this.
