Qatar isn’t even the first Middle Eastern country training in the U.S.

The US government trains personnel from foreign militaries on US soil primarily through the International Military Education and Training (IMET) program, administered by the Department of State and implemented by the Department of Defense (DoD).
quote:
Training occurs at over 150 US military schools and installations, such as Fort Benning (Georgia) for infantry, Holloman Air Force Base (New Mexico) for aviation, and Fort Bliss (Texas) for air defense. In fiscal year (FY) 2023–2024, IMET funded training for over 10,000 students annually from approximately 130–150 countries, with funding totaling around $108–110 million per year.

Qatar provides unparalleled access for US forces, hosting approximately 10,000 personnel—the largest US deployment in the Middle East. This supports CENTCOM's forward headquarters and operations across Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and Yemen.

It is one thing to train military personnel from allied nations.
It is quite another to actually yield American soil to a foreign nation, regardless of how 'friendly' they may be.
Why are we then so worried about the CCP buying land around domestic air bases?!?!
The sheiks and emirs of Qatar can be trusted just about as far as they can be thrown.

Qatar is very important geo politically right now and I believe our air base in their country is our biggest outside in the country in the world? Or at least the biggest in the Middle East
Not saying we should suck their cocks or anything but we don’t have to be pricks just to be them.

“Today we’re announcing, we’re signing a letter of acceptance to build a Qatari Emiri air force facility at the Mountain Home Airbase in Idaho,” Hegseth said, adding that the United States will “host a contingent of Qatari F-15s and pilots to enhance our combined training, increased lethality, interoperability. It’s just another example of our partnership.”
No foreign militaries have bases within the U.S., but some do have a small presence at U.S. bases. Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho already hosts Singaporean air force F-15SG fighter jets.

Ever heard of School of the Americas?

I know. That's the point I'm making. There are zero bases in the US that arent ours. But we have 750 outside the us so of course we will train some of those nations troops. Especially when they have a $12b deal to buy our jets.

Foreign military personnel have been coming here and training since WWII.
Being the no.1 arms seller in the world means your the no.1 trainer in the world as well. Bases all over this nation are housing and training Foreign nationals in all manners and all equipment.
After the KSA shooter here at NAS Pcola the protocols and security were given a much needed overhaul. No pearl clutching here and no one should be except karens.
