Not being flippant but Varsity can distribute chili dogs faster than some of these states are handling vaccines.

And like Varsity, I understand "protocols" and "priorities", but you simply say Waddayahavin, and move on. You dont "reserve" vaccines for front line workers, they take it or they dont.

You realize the next tranche of vaccines are soon to be delivered and they will be based upon the usage percentage of the first tranche? So those performing miserably, like Cali, wont suddenly get even more vaccines than the first round.

Maybe the folks are not rushing to get them in some areas?

In some instances you might get the first dose and go back for the second and they're out. How long between the first and second dose before you have to start over?

I won't be taking it either way.

Need to slow down until after Biden takes the oath. Then everything positive will be full steam ahead.

The vaccine companies waited until Biden was selected before announcing the vaccines. Do you really think they are going to do anything to make Trump look good?

I'll take my chances at 1/10000 vs. A rushed to market unstudied vaccine.

Cali had over 3million delivered by the fed govt and they have used a little over a million?????

They are opening up Disney parking lot to administer and it makes all the news....wtf didnt they plan that six months ago, with a thousand other arenas and stadiums and get busy with it.

Their economy is in free fall, people are dying left and right, and rather than administer a vaccine, they are calling for lockdowns yet again?

No doubt they will also welcome the 1000s of infected hondurans and vaccinate them at the border while citizens are dropping like flies.

This is correct 100%. I told my wife this over the weekend when we wera talking about it. They did not believe for a minute that the vaccine would be ready in 2020. None were prepared and they are all used to working on gubment time.

Texas has used all of theirs. We can vaccinate more.

We just do what we need to get done.

California is waiting till after biden gets in.

Or they really are that incompetent.

Tough to tell since they are dems.

Don't disagree per se. In Alabama, Ivey controlled $1.8 BILLION and Alabama was not ready at all. Just now setting up an online registry. They were last in the country last week, and not much better now. The leaders in the state legislature wanted to build themselves a new building with that Covid money.

Alabama vs other State Vaccine Plans

GA Gov is a moron. However, the use of outdoor stadiums is a good idea. Outside is better than inside with some healthcare workers that may or may not be safe themselves.

The Maj ... bingo. Nobody in Alabama really knows who is really making decisions behind the scenes. But, they prop Granny up to make some statements.

There plan appears to be to vaccinate young healthy state and ed workers in their 20s and 30s who don;t need a vaccine.

In my state's (Wisconsin) case, it's because the Governor and his minions are slow walking everything and even refusing to work with the state agencies. Case in point: two weeks ago the head of the University of Wisconsin System (which contains 26 campuses) offered to use the facilities and personnel to help distribute vaccines. He is still waiting for a response. One may think that the Dems in Wisconsin want Covid paranoia to continue for as long as possible.

Marcus--
Yeah, that would require Evers/Mandela-the-lesser/Sith Gow to actually learn something from those icky Republicans. Plus, there is no evidence that the Dems want to actually make things better/distribute vaccines. Quite the opposite, actually.
