The idea that somebody can go through MEDICAL SCHOOL and gain employment at an elite medical college, and not see the huge issue with some of these studies is absolutely incredible.

You can't hunt migratory fowl with a gun that holds more than 3 shells, with the exception of light goose conservation seasons.....and gentlemen never use anything with more than 2.....just fricking with you sky busting fricks on here.
Outside of shite that can kill you if you miss a kill shot with 3 rounds there is no logical reason to shoot more than 3 at any big game animal in North America. There is no legitimate sport shooting reason for a rifle to hold more than 3 rounds and a rifle is a poor choice of weapon for personal protection....other than it is fun as hell to empty a 30 round clip. Semi-autos long guns should be limited to 3 rounds. Hand guns are limited physically anyway. You make one of these crazy fricks have to reload every third round and allow more responsible gun owners to carry, both open and concealed, and the numbers of people killed in mass shootings drops dramatically because some old boy will blast their arse while they are reloading. Just because it's fun is no reason......drinking and driving is a blast until you run through a school bus stop and kill 30 kids.....there is shite that can be done and shite that is going to be done......it's up to responsible gun owners to dictate what those things are instead of saying there is nothing that can be done....

Honestly, more lives would probably be saved if fully automatic weapons were used in these situations. Perps would blow through ammo in a shorter time frame. You can go all the way back to the Civil War and find that despite repeating rifles being available, Generals didn't want soldiers equipped with them because they knew a lot of ammo would be wasted. Even during ww2, most soldiers didn't carry automatic weapons. Now if you want to take that a step further, sure laws and regulations have put fully automatic weapons out of reach of the average gun owner, but almost by default it has made these nut jobs take a more combat oriented approach. By using semi automatic weapons, they are wasting less ammo, because they aren't spraying and praying. The slower rate of fire due to only firing one bullet every time you pull the trigger makes for more deliberate targeting. In other words, a bad guy with a fully automatic weapon is generally going to be firing into an area and not necessarily at individuals. A guy with a semi automatic has the ability to target individuals and fire as quickly as he can take aim and waste very little ammo in doing so.
