Why are Democrats so unstable recently? I thought there was a blue wave coming?

It's honest to God incredible. They see President Trump succeeding and they can't stand it, so they react by assaulting and threatening his supporters.
These same people act like they are some holier than now group, always forcing people to be "tolerant and accepting." Then they start assaulting and threatening those with different political views than them? This is the literal definition of the word hypocrisy.
Don't get in my face for 2 years about Colin Kaepernick's right to protest if you are going to surround the AG of Florida at a movie theater or kick Sarah Sanders out of a restaurant. That's pure hypocrisy

Apparently from reading fake news and 
reddit/DU , the Supreme Court promoted gerrymandering, Russia is going to hack our elections worse than ever, and voter suppression is in full effect. In other words they have their excuses for getting destroyed in November and are thinking other illegal strategies for gaining power.

A couple reasons.
After the election, the vast majority of liberals had differing degrees of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
But, in the back of their minds, they were believing the bullsh!t they were hearing about the Russian investigation. The Rachel Madcows of the world were assuring them that Trump's winning was just a minor setback and that it would simply be a matter of months before Trump was impeached, convicted, and the indicted and sent to prison. They put all of their hopes in this outcome.
Remember the piece written by the Harvard Law School Prof who laid out how Hillary could still be the President? Basically, Trump and Pence would both be impeached. Paul Ryan would become President and then name sHitlary as the V.P. Ryan would then "do the right thing" and resign so that sHitlary could assume her rightful place as the Ruler of the World.
These whacked-out nutjobs (see, e.g., VOR) really believed that this would/could happen.
But, then the months dragged on and it became abundantly clear the the Russian investigation was a complete f*cking scam whereby far left deep state whackjobs in the DOJ and FBI tried to frame anyone and everyone in the Trump campaign. Trump never took the bait. So, all of their hopes were dashed.
At this point, they actually hitched their wagon to a completely f*cking sleazebag lawyer and his porn star client who claimed that she had consensual sex with Trump 12 years ago. Seriously, how f*cking desperate could they get?
Apparently, A LOT more.
They then set their sites on the November 2018 elections. There was going to be this overwhelming Blue Wave and the Dims would take control of the House and Senate. Surely, they'd be able to impeach Trump then (even if for no legitimate reason), and with McCain, Corker, Flake and a few other Never Trumper RINOs, they could convict him and send him packing.
NOW, that Blue Wave is setting up to be a complete f*cking disaster. Trump's economy is rolling along. Trump's policies and tax cuts have highlighted the differences between Odumbf*ck's slowest recovery EVER, and Trump's steamrolling economy. With all of this good economic news, the Dims literally have NOTHING to run on in November. All they can hope for is getting illegals to vote for them all over the country.
And, to make matters worse, the Supreme Court is doing its job and not legislating from the bench. As a result, it looks more and more like there will be another 6.5+ years of GEOTUS!
This has made the left completely lose its collective f*cking mind. From "Trump's going to be gone in a matter of months" to Trump serving 2 full terms has just made them completely f*cking insane.
And, IT'S F*CKING GLORIOUS!!!
