Why are democrats pandering so hard for black votes?

Pandering to the "black vote" is really just pandering to the white guilt of suburban women.

Because they have to get a high turn out amongst blacks and all other minorities to make up for being the anti-white party. There's not enough cucked whites out there to win without a high minority turnout.

They are really pandering to the illegal alien vote and voters who have died, but continue to vote.

s it still $2 bucks a head? That's what it was in the 60's....

Bad Man Orange will get alot more of the black vote than that.

- More division

- Hoping to catch GEOTUS with an awkward comment

- Rallying voters based on pigmentation

Interesting that involving black Americans in the political process and supporting black candidates is considered by right wingers to be “pandering for black votes.” In my view it’s more accurately described as working with all Americans to make our country better and more representative.

Perhaps you look at it this way because you consider political power to be exclusively “white,” and that Democrats are “white people pandering” to black Americans, who are inherently placed outside of political power. You would be mistaken.

Two things:

1. None of their candidates are enough of a draw by themselves to bring out black votes like Obama did. Without that level of black voter turnout they have no chance at all.

2. Every time there's a poll of black voters it seems Trump is doing a little better than in the previous poll. People willing to cross the aisle FOR a candidate are far more likely to vote than someone staying on their side of the aisle AGAINST a candidate.

These two aspects are scaring the shite out of the Democrat machine so they're upping the identity politics rhetoric and the prospect of largess from government coffers as an attempt to keep those from happening.
