I gotta think Blinken will step down and take the fall for Joe’s debacle. (The military did exactly what they were instructed to do).

Good names. Not so sure about Pompeo. Will probably come down to Obama’s preference, so Rice is probably the odds-on favorite.
It’ll be good television as we await the successor.
Will probably happen after the Taliban’s big 9/11 celebration so the new SOS doesn’t have to carry that blowback.

Just this week she took calls from heads of state ( Trudeau) and lined up airlines for Afghanistan evacuation.
So sweet of her to drop what she's doing to help the Elderly Gentleman in this time of crises.

Rice likes working from shadows a bit much to be SoS. I was thinking that was who Biden would appoint, but I think she likes where she is.

All the ones I'm seeing listed are not likely to happen, simply because there's even an iota of sense to it. Best odds would have to be on someone that makes no good sense, and in comical fashion.
