I think we have 3 pretty decent candidates, actually:
1. Young, charismatic, business outsider.
2. Youngish councilman with great hands-on experience at this level
3. Old well-known moderate with tons of experience at the state level
Our jungle primary system is vastly superior to the party primary system. Party primaries produce far more wacko candidates than open primaries, David Duke being the big exception.

I liked watson but his advertising has been about 0, figured he'd have no shot to make a run off. Held my nose and voted for Carter so as to not further split the R vote

Piazza is so full of shite and is running a campaign like someone running for school president in junior high, empty promises he has no way of fulfilling "every day will be pizza day in the cafeteria...AND NO MORE HOMEWORK!!"
and let's be honest, dressing like all of his attire comes from the Brooks Brothers little boys collection isn't exactly going to win him much of the black vote.

I would have thought Watson had a great chance at taking out Broome if you has asked me a year ago... not sure why he's fizzled out.

Well, then I guess not sure why he hasn't been able to raise any money against Brooms.

Carter sucked up all the money in the race

Piazza is a snake RINO that has zero business being the mayor of anything. It's a miracle he hasn't fricked up Uncle Earl's yet.
Isn't his family basically mafia? I heard his Dad was pretty much the mafia boss of BR.

He did the same thing to Franklin Foil.

it doesn't matter. if she gets into a runoff she's going to win because voting will be light for the runoff. just like last time when she was in the runoff and trailing Bodi White, his lazy arse voters stayed home on the runoff election day, and hers got out and voted. Same thing is going to happen. Then people want to blame the shitty politicians who get into office, when it's their own fricking fault. White people suck at showing up to the polls other than when it's a presidential election.

Who is legitimately best choice for BR? Honestly
Posted on 11/3/20 at 6:55 pm to Boo Krewe
Watson is our best choice... he is honestly a really good friend of mine, and was the councilman for my district, I’ve talked to him several times about it, he actually wants to make BR move in the right direction vs that retard broome, not to mention he actually listens to the people and does what he can... he is very smart and me and several people I’ve talked
To a lot of those that don’t know him on the personal level that I do, all agree he is our best choice as a mayor

Mafia my arse. He was a jock sniffing, fry cook who just happened to have a back room in his restaurant that could be used by the LSU Athletic department and the local lobbyists. He was a manager of the LSU football that couldn’t get out of Junior Division. He was let in because they all ate and drank for free.
Dude couldn’t even shuck an oyster in his own restaurant.

Some of the stuff is out of the mayor's hands like business development m that lies more on the legislature and governor with their hands out .
Crime ? What will they do differently? If I was mayor of try to copy Austin
