Who’s behind the “Republicans for (insert democrat)” push?
Posted by Eli Goldfinger on 8/7/20 at 9:58 pm101
Is this the DNC?
It is China?
A true Republican may not love the GOP candidates, but they sure as hell wouldn’t vote for the democrats’ socialist bullshite.
Who are they trying to convince?

They really believe if they get enough big name Reps to sell out the average voter will follow.

No such thing.
Politicians care about power and money, not party. Is that shite not obvious yet?

As I posted a week or so ago:
This is an old tactic; the Democrats use it in every election. It goes back at least to this classic TV ad in 1964.
Every four years you can go online and see lots of "I am a lifelong Republican, but now that ________ is the nominee I can no longer in good conscience stay in the party" posts
Aside from the "Democrats for Nixon" campaign in 1972, the Republicans have never really used it. I was kind of shocked when it wasn't used against Obama, but I guess as usual they were terrified of being called racist.

That guy is a douchebag reaching across the decades. He looks just like one of them today.
LBJ worked out just great - I am sure all the "lifelong Republicans" were just thrilled to have contributed to getting 50,000 guys killed for nothing.

I can't help but like it
quote:Over the years I saw this guy (forgot his name) in various things, such as MASH (as a state dept bureaucrat) and Taxi (as a complaining fare). He specialized in uptight pains in the arse. I never thought he was a good straight man. His deadly serious manner tended to kill the comedy in any situation.
what half arse third rate acting school has been around 6 decades to supply these guys?

I love watching some of the old videos. Hilarious to see someone spark up a cig.
