GOP Sen. Kennedy:
"Over the last year, Louisianians have asked me time and time again to come home to serve as governor … I am giving serious consideration to entering the governor’s race. I’ll be announcing my decision soon.”

All talk, no way that Fog Horn Leg Horn buffoon will never give up a senate seat to run for governor. He’s an embarrassment!

No, we need him in the Senate. JBE would probably run and win once he’s done.

I’m not a big fan but there’s no question Kennedy is the best candidate if the alternatives are Jeff Landry, Billy N, Schroeder, etc.

Would definitely prefer Kennedy over Landry or Nungesser.

At least through his time as State Treasurer, John Kennedy has an understanding of Louisiana's fiscal structure and issues, and he has actively fought against wasteful spending and boondoggle projects from the likes of Bob Odom.

Neither Jeff Landry or Billy Nungesser have ever done anything of the sort during their time as elected officials.

Lord no. We don’t want this RINO. I held my nose voting for his re-election and continue to pray well have our very own version of a Kari Lake someday soon.

It's no fun being in the minority. Let's hope Louisiana doesn't pull a Warnock.

Serious question...other than sound bites, what legislation has he actually put forth that benefits America / Louisiana?

He voted to give tens of billions to Ukraine.

Landry may have character issues, but at least he has stepped up via legal challenges in his role as AG.

I mean, Kennedy has some great quips, but legislation...not so much.

I think he’d be a decent addition to the race. At this time, Landry will get my vote but I’d like to see some other quality candidates.

Landry has his detractors that could allow another Sloth to sneak in

The fact he says "come home" lets you know that he is incased in the swamp of DC.

So you assume.

He voted to send tens of billions to Ukraine.

Again...show me what he has been responsible for that benefits America / Louisiana:

This! Kennedy talks and talk his cheap. All bark, no bite!

Landry at least takes action in fighting back against zuckbucks, big tech, parental rights, Covid mandates, etc. Kennedy hasnt even inquired about Jan 6 political prisoners.

Agreed. Secure Senate seats shouldn't be thrown up in the air if it's avoidable.

Neither Landry or Kennedy have done anything during their time in D.C., other than play defense. Which, to be honest, is about all I hope for from people in Federal Government these days.
