He delivered the keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2004.

That honor went to Elizabeth Warren in 2016.

obody anyone is aware of, and that's by design. BO came out of nowhere and pretty late in the game, which was a great strategy. If they can keep their best horse or two as quiet as possible the opposition doesn't have time to build up a negative narrative and enough "dirt".

Yep.

And anyone whom Trump has already given a nickname won't make it - Trump's nicknames stick to a person, big league. He'll have an advantage in 20 bc he won't have to wast time branding R's. He can go straight to the D's - early.

Sounds petty, but most people don't pay a lot of attention to politics. Sadly, a single word or phrase is all they need in order to make a decision.

Joe Biden would be 78 at his inauguration if he were to win. I think age is going to be a factor. Dude would be almost 83 if he wanted to run for a second term and every first term president wants a second term.

Harris, Booker, O’Malley. O’Malley looks and acts the part but after the third sentence out of his mouth you realize immediately that he is just not very bright.

It will either be a younger Biden-like working class politician, or an outsider.

I could see Bernie and Biden both not running, but each having their own horse, so to speak.

Martin O'Malley or Julian Castro

Castro checks all the liberal boxes (save female obviously), is young and an excellent public speaker. I'm sure they'd try to sell the party on the potential of flipping Texas. He's also devoutly catholic, supports free trade and fossil fuels so he would be far less offensive to the average Republican.

Long story short, he'd mobilize democrats (especially Hispanics) and wouldn't be someone republicans would fall over each other to vote against.

Don't matter what face they choose; it's Ideology that is their problem. Jesus Christ couldn't persuade the American Citizenry (outside of the delusional Urban populous) that Open Borders and Government subsidization of all takers will be a good thing for said Citizen's prosperity. Because it will be catastrophic, to any and all but the Democratic Party. Where is Chavez and His 'Party' now? Crashed and burned a successful Country...and went away while the embers were still glowing.

The best the Dem Party can hope for is Balkanization and pseudo-States where they can practice their suicidal Egalitarianism.
