My bet is Cuck Ryan is next on the "he sabotaged actual investigations tp project the uniparty" revelation chopping block

Ryan needs to face the music. We shouldn't allow people like him to just betray the nation and then walk away on their own terms. He helped prevent a proper investigation of the Awan deal when that was fresh and new. He should be prosecuted until he's bankrupt. A good public corruption case would be nice - and since he's GOP, there'd be no liberal hysteria and a million dollar gofundme for his legal bills. He needs to be destroyed.

Kind of harsh, Kraut wasn’t that bad and was more “Never Trump” than “uniparty”. But since you asked, McCain is really the only logical guess.

The issue came to light, House IG issued a report, House leadership like Ryan did not tell any LE but instead kept the issue in-house. Also, it came to light that an entire server went missing, and nothing was done about it. Paul Ryan and Xavier Bercerra were both part of ignoring that. Especially interesting, to me, is that the Awan scandal would come back to make the Dems look bad, and that it would have / should have broke during the last bit of the 2016 election. So why wasn't Ryan making a big deal of this? Essentially he acted to protect the DNC. Also, when the issue came to the House leadership, they didn't act to pull the Awans off the network.

This is a necessary step. A message must be sent to the current/future scum to never run for office with intentions other than civil service and good stewardship of tax dollars.

Maybe he acted to protect himself.
