My God, Mike Lee went in 100% supporting Trump and came out on fire.

quote:

Mike Lee calls Iran briefing “probably the worst briefing at least on a military issue I’ve seen,” adding that it was “insulting” to be told by administration officials not to debate merits of taking military action

quote:

A ticked off Mike Lee says the Iran briefing was so bad it changed his mind on Kaine’s war powers resolution, and now he’s going to support it

Wait...is it impossible to believe that it really was a lousy briefing and Senators were insulted by attitudes / instructions?

I am not knee-jerk reacting poorly. But, I don't follow in lock step with POTUS, either. I'm not bothered by the actions taken. But, I certainly can believe it is possible that they sucked at the briefing part.

Apparently it's no longer ok to question anything.

If the admin or their people told senators not to debate the merits of military action then the White House sent idiots to brief.

Makes me wonder what PedoTiger74 has been up to lately (other than manicemopixiegirls, of course). He supposedly works at the Pentagon.

So, it's your take that he's turned on Trump? I guess you can move him to the impeachment column, huh?

Or there was a standing agreement with Iran regarding Iran's save-face response, and Trump believes Dems would leak it in an effort to scuttle it. He doesn't want debate which might rock-the-boat.

That's my suspicion.

POS's in Congress -- Both Houses, Both sides of the aisle -- make it impossible to give a full-on briefing because their TDS takes precedence over patriotism.

Lee and Rand Paul share the same patch of sand, where they stick their heads. Remember Lee, deep down is a Udall, and Harry Reid was a mentor of Lee.
