Yah there’s no way he can pick a VP who isn’t black - it would be such a slap in the face to his base to pass over the black candidates for Whitmer

Would be so Joe like to do this. His explanation would be legendary, probably out doing anything else he has said. The total black vote would drop significantly and Trump would get 20 to 25% of those who do vote.

Yeah if my memory serves me correctly, that was his pledge immediately after the S.C. primary, which Jim Clyburn secured for him....and had it not been for that, Biden would've been over and out. So to go back on that without an extremely serious reason would be quite detrimental. Very detrimental.

She is awful. I’ll wait for someone to reply with the “she has a 70% approval rating” or whatever the BS number is today. I would bet 70% of the people in Michigan couldn’t even name the Governor if asked. I think that would apply to most states as well.
