Everything is more expensive thanks to inflation sooo the government wants to devalue its dollar further by handing out money which will in turn artificially drive up demand for gas at a point in time where this government has claimed the oil companies aren't producing enough oil to make gas

Proof that they don't care about gas prices, only care about votes. If they cared about gas prices, the easiest thing to do would be to suspend the Federal gas tax. But that wouldn't be as noticeable as mail box money.
